Do you want something that lists the rankings of those keywords in different search engines over time? If so WebPosition Gold works for me!

This one definitely needs clarification.

WPG works for tracking keyword positions. and there is a good free tool for that here: http://www.digitalpo...tools/keywords/

If you are talking about ROI tracking there are a lot of them. I use www.keywordmax.com and it is not that expensive for what you get.

Hi everyone,

I think there is a little missunderstanding. Actually I am looking for an excel-sheet or something else to manage my keyword lists. At the moment I havenīt found anything, that is good enough for my requirements.

Has anybody got a tip for me?

bye,

Welcome, masterplan! :(

How about Excel?

Wordtracker also makes it easy to import your keyword into Excel.

Considering you can import and export via Excel at most of the PPC engines I would suggest using that with the set up as generic as possible that can be tweaked to suit the exact engine.

You can add columns for the various engines and track numbers say clicks and actions... if you want to do a monthly visit to the engines you could get impression numbers where available.

If you are looking for keyword rankings on the various engines you can use a similar approach.

A little more info may make the conceptualizing easier.

Hi Masterplan,

I have a keyword spreadsheet that I use for all my PPC campaigns. I assume this is what you are talking about. I use a different worksheet for each PPC site, site each has a slightly different format for uploading. I also have a master keyword spreadsheet, which is the only place I modify my keyword list. The changes then propogate to the various engine specific worksheets. Each sheet also builds URLS with tracking parameters, and so forth.

I don't know if this is the best way to do it, but it seems to work for me. Someday, maybe I will release it as a free download...

I'd be interested in that spreadsheet of yours. Sounds pretty cool.

Wow. Its not that great! I feel compelled to polish it before I show it to anyone. Maybe I am just self conscious though.

:)

I'll see what I can do. Maybe we could turn it into a community project...
