I read a thread (on this forum recently) that contained some very useful simple advice on SEO but I fell short on understanding the following tip.

QUOTE
Rss feed using unrelated topics to the keywords

Can someone educate me as to what a RSS feed is? And in light of that, could someone explain the above please.

Thanks in advance,
Barry

Good technical explanation off RSS in that article!

In general terms, RSS is another way for people to receive your content. It is in a format so that a feed readers can read and display the content (as opposed to a browser for Web pages). The RSS feed can be indexed by various directories, engines and services.

The orange RSS at the bottom of this page is an example of High Rankings' RSS feed.

That piece of advice sounds like a no-no. The only reason I can think of to put in unrelated keywords is to try and get ranked for those inappropriate words.
