Hi,

I see here http://insite.lycos....bmit.asp?co=atw that I can pay 38$ per URL to be listed in all the search engines listed.

When they say "per URL" does it mean that I have to pay for each PAGES of the site I want to submit? Or if I can submit the homepage alone and the other pages will be indexed as well?

Also, on another post, I saw it cost about 38$ for EACH URL submission to alta vista, lycos, inktomi, etc... so why at this site (above) I have to pay only once for all of the engines listed?

Thanks in advance for your wisdom! :buds:

You pay for every single page you want indexed. And you would pay that price for each engine, although it looks ilke Insite has a deal for including the URL to both FAST and Inktomi for $32.30 as opposed to $34 for both. The price is only for those 2 database, but they feed many other engines.

Personally, my feeling is that there's not much reason to pay since your pages are probably already listed with them. If they're new pages, it may be worth paying, but only if you're in a hurry.

You would eventually get spidered but they also allow you to include keywords so there is a little boost to the ranking for the keywords you specify in the short term as well.
