i registered as chris.hough a few weeks ago and have been using the forum happily ever since. today i wanted to change my email to a new 'seo' only mailbox i set-up at yahoo.
i accidentally entered my email address as .com instead of .co.uk and as such did not receive any activation email (i know, i can barely beleive the two dont forward mail to each other either).

becasue i could not re-activate my account, i could not rectify the situation in the control panel as i didnt have privileges, i also couldnt post asking for help on the boards!

i was forced to reregister under the guise - domokun.

so what id like, is for some system to be implemented so that if you do make a mistake you can rectify it.

thanks

Chris, if you haven't already, try sending a PM to Scottie. If anyone can fix it, she can.

I've changed your e-mail address and approved your re-registration.

You should be able to log out of domokun and back in on chris.hough...

I'll delete that user name if Alan hasn't already.

I did get the bounced email for your Yahoo one and was going to ask you what that was all about then I saw this thread!
