Has any one organized a pre-event gathering on Thursday night? I think it would be fun to meet everyone in a not-so-serious atmosphere.

Scottie? Jill? Any one?


If not, may I suggest we hit the Blue Martini in the International Plaza complex? The Blue Martini is an upscale Martini Bar. They 20 of the most modern specialty martinis complimented by a tapas menu. Its a very popular spot and its about 5 minutes from the airport!

PS - By the way, if you are staying at the Tampa Airport Marriott and want to venture out to do some shopping, this mall offers airport courtesy shuttle to and from International Plaza during mall hours.

Here's what I was thinking, but I"m not sure what time Chris, Karon and Scottie are getting in.

I was thinking that we would probably be meeting for dinner somewhere to go over any last minute seminar details, and then after that we could do something like the above. I was thinking the hotel bar/lounge would be easiest, but I'm open to this other place. Lee or I can email all the participants if we make a formal plan.

If the "girls" are getting in early enough, we could do an early dinner and meet at like 7 or 8 pm or something like that.

Let's discuss more...

I just finished reading my Advisor newsletter and noticed your comment about where you'll be hanging out on Thursday night:

"Look for us in the hotel bar/lounge/pub on Thursday night and stop by

I'm not the best person to discuss this with as I don't plan things. (That's what I have Lee for.) I just show up.

Karon and I arrive at 5:35- so drinks by 7:30-8:00 sounds doable. (I'll probably start at dinner but don't mind me...)

Not sure when Chris is arriving; I'm sure Lee will be early!

I'm all for getting out of the hotel Mayra! We'll just have to drag Jill out. Hotel bar...hmnph. That's for weenies. We're in Tampa! We should get out and do something. We can probably leave word at the front desk of where we'll be if anyone asks.

Scottie, I know all the ladies will enjoy their stay in Tampa. There is a lot to do in regards to the bars, restaurants, shopping and of course...lots of beaches!

Any old place is fine with me, provided transportation is available (preferably free ).

BTW, my flight is supposed to arrive at 3:42 pm - a little earlier than the plane carrying our illustrious leaders. Rather than sit around twiddling my thumbs, I'll be glad to help out any way I can with seminar preparations, if needed. Just let me know.

NO KIDDIN'!! We just about had to call an ambulance 3 times in Atlanta. I swear Jill has magnets in her sneakers and all the metal from the passing cars just drags her into the street. She nearly got run over several times.

That or she was "nipping" in her room before we went out and didn't tell anybody

I'm with Scottie so whenever she says we arrive, that's when it is I haven't even looked at my ticket.
