Hello.

Does anyone know how you would go about setting up Overture PPC ads for a UK company (a language school) who want to advertise their courses to students in Japan and the Far East. Would you have to set up a Japanese Overture a/c for example? If so, one would obviously need a translator since the Japanese section is obviously in Japanese.

Any help appreciated on this. I have emailed Overture but there's no response.

Thanks!

Tig :)

Welcome to the forum, Tig. :)

If your prospects are likely searching on Japanese sites you'd probably need to set up an Overture Japan account in Japanese.

Do you have a Japanese language version of your site?

Hello Haystack!

Thanks for the quick reply.

No, there isn't a Japanese version at present, but I'm sure we could get one built somehow. Also get a Japanese speaking person to help set-up a Japanese Overture a/c, although quite how one then deals with the management of it is another thing entirely. :)

Watch this space .......!

You may want to look at Sina, Baidu and Sohu as well.... if you pull these sites up in Google you can use their translation tool to find your way to the keyword advertising section... if you are going to do a decent amount of advertising they would translate the pages for you too.

I know Overture does a translation service for the Platinum clients, have used them.
