Hi All,
I know this doesn't relate directly to the board, but I was wondering if anyone can recommend any robust and affordable shopping cart solutions. I've used StoreSense on several projects, but I was just looking around to see what else is out there. Any ideas would be appreciated.
What I am looking for is a fully customizable solution that can be completely integrated into a design. Offers related product functionality and enable me to query products by category. Thanks.

That's an all over the board answer strike_balance.
OSCommerce is a pretty good free shopping cart solution. And can be made to be pretty search engine friendly with a few modifications. Totally open source so you can do whatever you want to with it.
Some use x-cart as well, and I know that at least one member here has had very good success with it. I've used this one too, though I just found out some info over the weekend about the newest version (only apparently) that is a bit troubling. I'll be working out a mod for that sometime this week, even though it's not my site.
One of those geek things, what can I tell ya.
I also want to test CubeCart one of these days. From everything I read it's pretty easy to work with if you're familiar with CSS. I can't recommend it personally yet since I haven't tested it yet to see how SE Friendly it is.
IMHO the shopping cart you choose is going to depend upon what you need. Starting with whether you need a solution you install or one that is hosted elsewhere. Then we get into what payment options it allows. Which you're used to and most comfortable with. Etc, etc.
I've yet to see an installed cart that can't be made spider friendly. But some are definitely more challanging than others.
There are some other threads around here discussing this subject. You may want to do a quick search to find those.
