3 of the 5 owners of GoGuides voted to start a new directory and took the data and started Skaffe.com and the other 2 owners kept GoGuides.org but they are accusing the other 3 from stealen their data. See frontpage Goguides.org.

Who exactly are the 5 original owners?
From the info at GoGuides, one would think they are treating it as copyright infringement.

I can log in to the new directory - Skaffe as its called but GoGuides.org is in complete disorder right now. I would assume GoGuides would have editing privileges in both directories. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.what does that do for us GoGuides
I currently did not find any forum at the new directory and could not find any info at all as to ownership. I could not even find the GoGuides editor list at Skaffe.
It will be interesting to see how this plays out. Hopefully they get GoGuides.org back up soon as that directory has longevity and PR associated with it where as Skaffe is a brand new domain, so it seems.

Skaffe is using the same PHP application from GoGuides, so in addition to the data I would say there would be arguments of who owns the application copyrights... Should be interesting to see how it develops.

That looks to be actually a quote at Cre8 that was quoted from another forum, but not given credit. Does anyone have the actual link to the other forum where that quote is truly from, by any chance?

It looks like the quote I posted above from Cre8asite originally came from Webmaster Word. I found this one as well:
