odd, that google seems to have dropped backlinks to ODP, anyone else noticed this?
Nope
I have a new ODP listing showing since yesterday when the backlinks were updated.

Thanks for the good info.
Did any one notice increases in PR for their sites?
Are the backlinks and the PR bar always updated at the same time?

Things have been changing with google.
Before 6-03 the banklinks and PR changed every month.
Since 7-03 google uses more of a continuous ranking changes.
This is the first time the backlinks have been updated in 2 months.
I am not sure if it is working properly.
Some of my backlinks were updated.
I seems to me google is using old data (see above).
I am not sure how they know it si 4 weeks old.
Google may be the best search engine, but they are not perfect.

I assume you mean from pages with a PR of some value. I don't want to re-start the argument about whether Google lists back links from pages lower than PR4 but clearly they do only show links from pages with some level of PR.Hm. I've spent the last month getting new backlinks for three different sites, and I only see one of the new ones coming up.
Google just increased the back links reported for one of my site from 113 to 126 but in my opinion that figure is probably still 30 or 40 links too low.

Yes, I think most of them were at or above PR4 (even though I don't use that as a big part of the decision of whether to get the link). I think the problem is that most of the links were set up in the last two weeks, so I'll probably have to wait until the next update.
