What I struggle with is when I look at impressions in PPC and then look at estimated traffic the results are different.

For example: "Flight Training" shows that it is the most entered phrase according to Google suggestion tool, but "aviation schools" actually gets entered more according to Adwords results. My #1 competitor seems to optimise for Aviation Schools.

So this confuses me to no end.

Also when it comes to PPC Google estimated my clicks and position, but then when I follow the suggestions, the results do not even come close to matching what they predict.

I am concerned that my decision making is based on flawed data.

I would love to have an SEO expert to work with, but just can not afford it right now. :-)

Why not optimize for both terms?

And more than both terms -- ALL terms!

(Split from competition topic since it has nothing to do with that topic)

The numbers from Adwords appear to be based on a very limited time frame, so they shift around from day to day. As Scottie and Jill have pointed out, those are both search terms that people are using to find what you sell, so they're both good targets.

Thanks very much all of you.

I was wondering if it were possible to pay some to look over my site and my situation and make suggestions. I could collect all the data and write up a report, then perhaps someone could respond back with what I should do?

If I can not ask this here, just delete this post.

You can post a request in the Contracting and Subcontracting forum on this site and have people PM you with quotes and/or more information.
