Inktomi seems to be a lot slower at picking up on the links. I have about 1000 pages and inktomi is taking months to spider me. Google got me in a coupple of weeks.IMO, Ink is much less picky about links. They count a lot of links they should not; ones Google filters out. With that in mind, it should be fairly easy to get in to Inktomi. Slurp doesn't seem to be as quick as Googlebot is at getting to the new sites, though.

For 1000 pages, if you have some money in the budget, you may want to think about using trusted feed through PositionTech or Trellian.
