I read a response on your site about Google teasers, but could not find a solution to my problem. When searching for my company's name in Google, it picks up a two line teaser that not only is not in any metatag includes, but is not in the home page code, nor anywhere else on the site (that I can find through the search engine). Any ideas? The information in the current teaser is wrong and needs changing. I have asked various technical consultants, and no one seems to know the answer. Help! crossfingers.gif

Is your site listed in DMOZ?
It's possible that Google is picking up the description given to your site listing by the DMOZ editor.

Thanks everyone--you just solved a similar problem for me.

Lesson learned: Pay careful attention to directory submissions, as they bad ones can sneak up from behind and "bite" you.
