I gotta say that I really
appreciate a forum where good manners and friendliness are emphasised.
Thank you for the welcome messages. I will try and carry on the tradition in my posts as well.
As regards the "client is always right" comments, I fully agree. I consider the responsibility to conduct upright SEO practices to be paramount to what the client might want. Regarding the concern of this post however, I feel it is more an aesthetic consideration, and not one of "deceptive" practices to spoof the search engines. I am open and happy to hear well-founded arguments that counter this position.
Regarding that 200 code thing, it said it was an error, and it delivered no results. I ended up putting up a straight-up html page with just the code that I wanted to check and used that successfully.
Finally Qwerty, I am a little baffled by your post regarding how important that single term can be to the site. I have identified the term "blood" as the primary, among others of course, key term to optimize for. It is certainly what the site is all about. Since its importance seems glaringly obvious to me, I would be curious to hear why you asked:
is ranking well for the single word "blood" really going to help the site?
