Great forums! I've been picking up lots of helpful ideas to fix the mistakes we made over the past year. And we made plenty of them...
I could definitely use some advice - I think one of our biggest problems is we've submitted under 2 names.
Our DMOZ listing is under http://www.moviesforme.ca/.
But we've been using a service called Submitnet to submit once a month. There we've used www.moviesforme.ca. Uh oh.
Should we submit everything under http://www.moviesforme.ca/? And does the / at the end of the URL matter?
And one more question - would most people recommend continuing to use a service like Submitnet, or doing the submissions manually?
Thanks for any advice people can offer!

Why are you submitting once a month? And to what services?
Directories will toss you out for over-submitting (once you are in, you don't need to submit anymore) and it doesn't help anything with search engines... they follow links.
Forget the submission service and work on finding sites to link to yours!
The http: won't make a difference.

Hi sqlover! And welcome
the http:// part doesn't matter - the scripts usually parse it in or out anyway. You are usually better off leaving it in unless the site tells you not to.
It's never a good idea to "auto-submit" anything. You should always do this by hand. It doesn't take too long, and you can customize your submission for each site.
Not to mention the fact that auto-submission programs are roundly hated by legitimate search engines (it's usually against their submission policy) and LOVED by spammers.
You can save yourself money, enhance and customize your listing and avoid being spammed by hand submitting.
