I consider using clickxchange.com affiliate marketing system as advertiser. Does any one using it? If yes, does it worth using it. To become advertiser with them you have to pay $1000 at front. Kind of a lot of money  but less than CJ  they ask $5500.

Any suggestions how alse I can boost my affiliate program?

Thanks in advance

Surely most of clickbank's 100 000 affiliates would be useless to one in the sense it wont be targeted to one's site? I would imgaine better results could be obtained by sourcing targeted affiliates directly.

I don't think clickxchange has anywhere near the reach of CJ. If you sell electronic information ClickBank is probably the way to go.

Most of the people in SEO that have products I would consider purchasing sell them via clickbank. (Andrew Goodmans Adwords report, Jill Whalens report...)

It is true that most affiliates will never make a sale, but having a good reach from your affiliate source such as ClickBank or CJ can help.

With the advent of paid ads (such as AdSense) it is getting tougher and tougher to sell people to become affiliates of a ton of different programs. Your best bet is to either have a super awesome product which essentially promotes itself, or to pay to be listed in one of the top few affiliate program directories.

Consider there are a ton of affiliate programs out there such as

Commission Junction (is to be added to the Be Free suite) ValueClick just bought them

Other notable commission programs include:
CLICKBANK.COM:
Performics
LinkShare
Amazon

and a few smaller ones such as
QuinStreet
shareasale.com
My Affiliate Program
icommisions
clickxchange
...

While I have not used any affiliate programs I can tell you that ClickBank only costs about $50 to set up, and I have also overheard many positive comments about the My Affiliate Program software offered by Kowabunga.
