Hi, Just wanted to mention what an excellent job Scottie did on the guest article in this week's Advisor. The SEO and PR comparison really hits home because that's what we've been doing for the past 3 years.
If you haven't signed up for Jill's High Rankings® Advisor, you should!
Nice job Scottie!

I agree! I think that article will be one that SEOs all over the world will point to for years to come, when trying to sell their services to clients who "just don't get it"!
I'm traveling right now and haven't had a chance to get it put up in the archives yet. Maybe tonight. Maybe not...getting wined and dined in a few minutes.

Thanks Lee!
I've used that analogy several times, in several forums and Jill encouraged me to write it up for her. IMO, it really does take a lot of the mystery out of it when you can compare it to something more familiar.

) you can see it on my site.

Aw, thanks Lee! I'm still rewriting some things- you'll still get some page not found errors, but at least I'm not embarrassed to have people look at it anymore!
My dear friend Sophie (AKA Sanity) saved me from my misguided design attempts with a clean, simple layout that I really like.
It's interesting- this article has gotten a lot more positive and negative responses than any article I've written before- people seem to feel strongly about it. Love it or hate it.
I've asked some of the people who contacted me to come here to discuss, but so far no one has.

Thanks! I really like it. Sophie does wonderful, usable, seo-friendly designs. She got it right the first try after looking at several messes I created on my own.
Now to finish rewriting the content... why is it so hard to work on your own stuff? I'm just never happy with it...
