Your time spent for 6 sites varies based on the work needed for each site, size of the site, whether the site is dynamic or static, whether it needs rewriting modules, is it built search engine friendly, does it have quality contents or you have to prepare it etc, without knowing these stuff I cannot give you an exact answer for your question,
From what I can see 10 hours per week is not enough if you are going for competitive rankings, I dont know how you work in seo for your sites, we do have a standard procedure for each sites we do, there are some 25+ work for each site we do for each site and it takes lot more time, Probably around 30 hours per site, But once setup is done we rarely touch onpage work on the site unless it is needed,
Reasonable time for a 50 page site would be 20 hours for onpage work , this excludes seo copywriting, seo copywriting consumes lot more time,

I have barely enough hours in a full 7 days a week 12 hours a day scenario for a cple of sites with up to about 100 pages max!
It obviously depends on what you want to achieve and the amount of traffic you want from the search engines as oppose to outside advertising etc Whether you wish to grow, become authority sites, get rich or just play around as a hobby doesnt it?
As with 'any' business the more you put in the more you are likely to get out.
