Hi Everyone,

If I were located in the US but wanted to view adwords as if I were located in Canada or say Indonesia ( or any other country) , how would I get about doing that ?

Thanks in advance

I would assume that you would just log into the country specific Google.

Google Canada - http://www.google.ca

As far as Indonesia goes, to my knowledge, Google does not currently have a country specific site.

The results certainly differ on the .ca site vs. the .com.

If Google doesn't have a local version, choose to see Google in the language of the country yo want to see the AdWords results for.

Make your search.

Append at the end of your url this: &gl=us

where 'us' is the code of the country you're interested (I suppose it's from an iso list, I don't know which).

On a similar note, we would like to promote our global product to all Google visitors, irrespective of country. Therefore does selecting 'All countries' do this - or would I best setting up separate campaigns for each [Google] country??

Likewise, we also have local language variations of our site, and have therefore developed local langauge ads. If I wanted to display ads to French speakers (wherever they are based) could I just select the language as 'French' and select 'all countries' again. I would assume that this would display the ad to anyone visiting google.fr (because its in French), whereas if I selected 'France' only it would only display the ad to those whose IP address was recognised as being based in France?

As you can tell - I am a bit confused by this, any help gratefully received! :)
