Off top of my head...

You can have the feed added to your Yahoo rankings, as well as put a button on your site where folks can add your headlines to their MyYahoo page:
http://my.yahoo.com/...publishers.html

Syndic8 is an extensive RSS feed directory (I am sure there are more out there like that).

Also, if you haven't already done so, the crawlers will pick it up if you put a line in your html in the header (assuming you have xml feed):
<link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="RSS" href="URL of feed">

Also there are directoris nd sites specially dedicated to RSS/Blogs in which you can submit your RSS feeds.

I've also planned to include my own RSS feed for the website.

This post really helped me as well.

Thanks guys.

Use feedburner and pingomatic for starters. My new Affiliate and SEO blog network traffic is going great guns and I have several #1 and top 10 ranking.

I hate to admit it BUT I read an ebook (which I don't usually do) that really boiled the basics down to "HOW do I drive traffic with a blog". Its worth a read (just ignore the hypey ebook sales copy.) Once you get into the actual book it is step by step and VERY good. Not for beginners about how to start a blog - but for specific how to market, get traffic and get syndicated info - it's pretty good and free. super-bloggers.com

Hope this gives you some ideas that will help get you started.
