As someone moving from table to CSS page design on highly dynamic sites I spent quite a bit of time trying to understand some of the subtle differences in tableless css design.
During my search I came across a neat little online tool for generating CSS design based on the parameters you put it, not that it is a solution for all your CSS needs. It does help you put out together a template that you would want, then look at the code to see how it's put together and may prove helpful to some others as well in their learning curve.

Hey Nathan,
Yeah, I know we knocked this around a few days ago, though what we discussed was a little different.
Instead of a "generator", the creature we talked about was more of a "converter" (tables to CSS).
There are a bunch of little tools like this that I think would be a good starting point for the project. I'll start keeping a list of them in my bookmarks, so if you (or anyone else who happens to read this) knows of one, PM me & I'll add it to the list. Once I get a couple, I'll start a new thread that we can use to discuss this concept more.
