There always seemed to be cute waitresses willing to oblige, interestingly enough!

Yes, the lady at the crab place had Matt pegged immediately. Almost first thing she had him all bibbed up. Matt must look like a mess waiting to happen!

I'm afraid I'm the guilty culprit who "bibbed" Matt at the Salmon House.

Of course, I've seen the boy eat before and knew it was a necessity. Then I carefully made sure I was at the next table out of range. biggrin.gif

Nathan - that crab Matt had Friday night at the Charter House was HUGE, bigger than any crab I've ever seen. Here in Virginia we have blue crabs which are itty bitty things compared to what he scarfed down!

We also had some killer crab and artichoke dip with toast points as an appetizer one night..... awesome. Made with that dungess crab as well.

We definitely had good eats in Seattle and met some really nice people, including the hotel staff at the Watertown. They were great!

LOL! We do have a good time.

I gotta plan on being well for SJ! I wasn't much fun this trip. No redwine.gif. Early to bed and all that.

San Jose is always a blast, though. Very laid back.

The bar at the hotel in San Jose makes some killer Martini's. However, I don't think I will be partaking of them this year.

In general, San Jose is one of the more fun SES shows, as there is a lot to do, and the warm weather combined with downtown San Jose is a nice combo.

And for the record, I'm not sure where all of this "messy eater" stuff is coming from . . . no one got hit with a crab leg. (At least more than once.)

My apologies for raising the question Matt.

I consider that nothing more than sharing, just in case the-someone-who-was-hit was hungry. wink.gif

Downtown SanJose? You're kidding right? That place is even too dead for me!

LOL- not much going on outside of conference events in the San Jose downtown!

What makes it fun is that it seems like everyone comes to that one and the Google Dance is always fun... everyone seems to throw good parties there.

Well, if they'd quit holding it on my anniversay I might show up and see what all the fuss is about.

By the way, I captioned most of the pictures in case anybody wants to know what and/or who the heck they are looking at. smile.gif

You just have to know where to look . . . wink.gif

Of course, my memory of most events is somewhat lacking.
