Hey all,

I had sort of a random question I was hoping to get some feedback on.

Specifically, what I am wondering is, does anyone here have any experience with signing up for google adsense while their site is still "stuck in the sandbox"

I was contemplating a couple pet projects, and it occurred to me that by running google adsense ads on your site, a site owner could conceivably bypass the filter. On one level, this makes sense as your site would need to be crawled for the ad server, as well as the fact that google would have a financial interest in ensuring maximum visibility for their ads.

On the flip side of this coin is the fact that in an effort to protect their corporate image and branding identity, that this is precisely the kind of thing they would jum through hoops (if needs presented themselves) to avoid.

Anybody have any thoughts or experience with this?

There is a theory that Adsense will get your pages indexed more quickly, but that's still open to debate. It has zero effect on rankings.

Are you talking about the sandbox effect which has to do with site being repressed for unnatural linking or the aging delay that all new sites are experiencing?

I've never heard of it helping.
