due to security.

I create the tables in PHPmyadmin without any fuss.

But when I try to create a connection within MX I keep getting 403 (field checks have been run and are correct, db name etc) hence I stall in building it as I cannot edit into my templates...

any help out there please crossfingers.gif

Probably the MySQL username you are using has no rights beyond localhost.
To connect from outside the server you need a user with a wildcard host access.
