Google is taking over the world. This map system blows map quest out of the water. My favorite search in the business search is "pizza sacramento" hehe.

Wow. They've managed to blow me away yet again. That is sooooo cool.

Well thank you very much for finding a way for me to waste yet another hour or two of my day, looking up locations and driving directions to places I already know how to get to, just because it looks so cool... hysterical.gif

Not sure why everyone is loving thsi so much. I dint see anything great. I am too used to clicking on a section on the map to make it the center (focus). Then zooming in on it. The new interface does not seem very intuitive to me.

Yeah, I had to actually read the instructions to find out about the click-and-drag, but everything else is super-intuitive. That they figured out how to encompass so many different ways of mapping something and make it so effortless is amazing.

The simple text and basic layout suggests google is moving towards wireless.

I work for a cartography company. This definitely blows mapquest right out of the water, and I'll be willing to bet that they're not done with it yet.
