This isn't specific to Web Design, but does anyone know of a cheap program to create safe animated screensavers not burdened by ads or spyware? I'd like to edit some short mpegs from a digital camcorder and loop them, ultimately creating desktop screensavers featuring some of my products. I suppose Win & Mac use different file types, is that true? Just thought offering something like this might be a nice little free perk I could offer that others don't.

I don't know of a program that does this, but I think one thing worth noting is your clarification that it not include ads or spyware. Unfortunately, I think you'll have a hard time getting people to download it because so many programs like this have in fact been used to trick people into installing junk on their computers.
