Hi,

I have a new client that wishes to implement Dublin Core as Meta Data. I know little about it, but does anyone know if they could hinder or help in search engine rankings?

Thanks

Adam.

Neither. I don't think any search engine pays attention to DC meta data. They just skip it.

I agree. The government of Canada uses Dublin Core plus their own schema but I don't believe they have a tool yet for finding pages that are organized with this meta data...

My $0.02: if they want advice, say no, don't bother with it as it is useless.

If, however, they just want it, say no problem, here is my bill. The customer is always right, and if the Dublin Core is ever used, they will at least be one step ahead of the game smile.gif
