I have two domain for the same business, rather than hosting the second domain some where else and put in a 301 redirect .. I have created an alias so that the second domain points to the first one ...

Does anyone knows how Google or other main serach engines handle aliases ... I just dont want Google penalizing me for any of this ...

thanks

Aliases are seen as duplicates, and you do not need two hosts to use a redirect.

read any of the 301 threads for more info.
