Two Pages Indexed. The Rest Ignored?
Posted 14 January 2005 - 03:51 AM
totally confused again (nothing new there!)
Two of our pages have been indexed fine via google including title, decription etc. But the rest of our site have been treated differently.
1 The catalogue pages have been indexed but only the page name (keywords, title, description etc. all present in HTML)
2 The other pages (link page, newsletter, etc with general content) have been completely ignored.
What am I doing wrong or is it just a time issue?
The site has now been up fo 2months and is updated daily.

That would explain the catalogue pages but I am still perplexed as to why none of the other pages have been indexed or at least show signs that they have (like the catalogue pages)

The sites is looking much better than when you joined the forum for me I would prefer to see pictures when I get to the actalog/index.html page instead of your mgb logo I would be more inclined to click a picture than your logo.

The link building strategy has started this week and will be ongoing for the next 4-6 weeks (or when I have exhausted every avenue)
I see what you mean by the logo on the cat pages but we are trying to keep the download time to a minimum presently but we will be looking into adding the products maybe in version 3 in April as we are still stocking the shop with new lines daily

Your link building campaign and a little bit of time will definitely help to garner more interest from the spiders, which in turn means your site will be fully spidered.
