Our website omits the "www" from the domain (i.e. http://domain.com). It's been like this since I joined the team. Current rankings are great for many pages within our site.
From my understanding, we could add the "www" back in and simply have the "non www" resolve to it.
Would this switch hurt our current rankings? I'm woried that G might see it as a redirect or something and our rankings are simply too good to screw with at this point. Figured I should ask.
For those wanting to know why I'd even ask this; we have an SSL cert that covers the "www" not the "non www".
Thanks in advance!
