Internet Retailer announces its first e-retailing conference

Internet Retailer 2005 Conference and Exhibition will take place June 7 and 8 in Chicago featuring keynote addresses by Wes Arens, vp of Amazon, and Fiona Dias, president, Circuit City Direct. Registration is available at internetretailer.com/IR2005.

BTW, there is another internet retail conference, Etail:
http://www.wbresearch.com/etail

But it's in Palm Desert, CA in Feb. instead of Chicago in June.

Both have interesting agendas.

I tried to "edit" once the thread was placed, and although it let me edit the Title, it did not "take" like when you edit text...? So I let it be.

The thing that is most encouraging to me about these developments is that there appears to be a convergance happening where traditional marketing and Internet marketing is concerned.
