Got my products listed in Yahoo Shopping in a matter of hours!

We are not a Yahoo! Store Merchant, but virtually any store can be included in the new portal, one catch, you must do business in US dollars.

It's a pay per click deal, minimum account balance of $50, we'll see if it produces any results.

Congrats Marybeth. Yahoo! Shopping and Froogle need to get their act together and start allowing services now. Some of my more unscrupulous competitors are sneaking in the services under the guise of products, but I just won't do that.

Again, congrats, I hope the traffic converts well for you.

Hi Cygnus,
I was excited about Yahoo listing me so quickly, because I submitted to Froogle, got my feed approved last Wednesday, still waiting for products to appear. ;) Of, course, with Yahoo I threw the $50 buck minimum at them, so that might be why they listed so quickly.

Jill,

I will! Actually, we just sold a product about an hour ago, but it didn't come from Yahoo Shopping, although, we did get three hits from them today. As long as we sell stuff, that's all that matters. ;)

Well here's an update on my Yahoo Shopping experience so far...first feed was up in a matter of hours, but all my images were not showing up. I tried emailing Yahoo Shopping's help center, that was about a week ago, still haven't heard a thing. I resubmitted feed a second time, hoping it would "fix" the image problem, and I also made some minor changes. Again, new feed was up in a matter of hours, with new changes, but even fewer of my images are showing this time. I'd estimate that less than half are showing up. Yahoo obviously has some problems to work out with the images. I also submitted to Froogle, basically the same feed, fields are just in a different order, all my images are showing up in Froogle. :D

Have not seen an increase in sales so far. :raspberry:
