No Mark, you're not alone. I always start out on paper. Probably because doesn't matter where I am I can take the pen and paper with me. If I don't start out on paper I end up getting too graphical with the initial layouts and structure. Plus, on paper, I can add a note anywhere. Messy, but keeps all the thoughts & ideas together in one place.
