I constantly get clients asking me what a robots.txt file is, how to use it, etc. Especially after I tell them they don't have one and should get one
So I just made a robots.txt generator and info page - hopefully to answer these questions and to make my (and other people's) life easier.
Hopefully it's useful to someone here - I know I've needed it a few times personally...

I don't suppose there is a coder out there who could suggest a workaround? It works perfectly in IE but that's not good enough, IMO.

Still, it's fun playing with it. A great idea, Ian. I'm sure it will become one of those indispensible internet resources

What if you just set the value for the "Same As Default" option to "" (empty quotes)? You currently don't appear to have a value specified for that option, so if you do that & then check for it in the script then that might work...
Just a thought.

Between you and Orion at SEW I've revamped it - it's now faster, better coded and works in Firefox and IE
