Any shortcut that you want to change the icon for... I believe you mentioned it had an MS icon or something. Basically any shortcut can use any icon... just use the method I said before to change it you can give Firefox an icon of MS Internet explorer if you really really want to.
Oh, not to alarm you but the symptoms you describe are similar to the activities of certain worm viruses - but I am sure its not that. Win98 was always dodgy!

Love the tabs, too. I usually get so many sites and pages open at once, IE does that "group" thing on me, making it hard to go back and forth. I have 13 open now with no problems. :yay:
I read this thread for the first time just now. Seems I have a lot of "play time" ahead of me.
I just read an article suggesting Thunderbird email software with Firefox. Using Eudora now because of Outlook security. Anybody know if there are advantages to using a Thunderbird-Firefox combo instead of Eudora?

It's over. Our relationship just hasn't been working for a while, and now, this is it. I'm leaving you for another browser.
I know this isn't a good time -- you're down with yet another virus. I do hope you feel better soon -- really, I do -- but I, too, have to move on with my life. Fact is, in the entire time I've known you, you seem to always have a virus or an occasional worm. You should really see a doctor.

Firefox allows you to change the browser you are claiming to be - might take an extension, not sure.
Oh, hehe, this is a technical forum -make that 'FF allows you to change the agent it claims to be'.
A lot of the time that is all it takes
Ah, yes, here we go - http://extensionroom...eragentswitcher

Changing your agent will get around the first, but not the second

I've got quicktime set to save files I watch online in my disk cache, so after it ran through, I opened up XP's search facility and ran a search on its name. No results. I tried Google's desktop search, but that was no help either (I don't think it indexes .mov files).
Then I thought, maybe Windows isn't looking in FireFox's cache, so I ran the video in IE, ran the search again, and there it was.
