Hi,

As a junior/striving SEOer I have a slight problem that I don't know how to fix. I am currently ranked quite high on MSN and Yahoo search engines for the keywords "creating a website" but I am not being listed on GOOGLE.

I think part of the problem is that when I search for my site on GOOGLE, there is no description. The description reads "ALT TAG DESCRIPTION ..."

Does anyone know how I can fix this? And will this affect my Yahoo ranking? For anyone interested my website is

[URL Removed.]

Thanks in Advance,
Nazarite

Hello Nazarite, I noticed you have a pr 2 on your home page. I am having similar issues with on of my websites. I rank in the top 10 for over 100 keywords for my industry on MSN and Yahoo however I suck on google, aol and cant seem to get into dmoz. It gets really frustrating and I have not figured it out yet. I look at my compactors and they are doing exactly the same thing I am other than his pr is 6 and mine is 4.

Someone out here maybe have the answer we are after.

I know to rank well on google that you need backlinks. Check how many backlinks your competitors have and compare it to how many you have. That might give you a place to start.

How old is the site? There is a known situation with Google "sandboxing" some (most?) new sites and not showing them in the results right away.

My site has been up for over 2 years. I do know he beats me on backlinks but I should pass the others that I have more backlinks to those pages. We also buy backlinks from a text link broker.

It's possible that this link broker is frowned on by Google, such that you get no benefit from those links.

there is a latest issue with the google being too wary about those sites which have been too much SEO'd. maybe you need to remove some of the unnecessary tags in your site.
