Those are good pics, Bobette. Thanks for sharing.
Yes, it was a whirlwind visit. I didn't stop for a moment. But it was fun and well worth the effort.

SEO tips? Oh yeah, there was that, too. I only went to Tuesday seminars. Didn't really learn anything new as far as SEO techniques (mostly because I already hang out online here - the SEO mods know a lot, which is why many of them are in seminars at SES
Picked up a bit of new data from Danny Sullivan's keynote speech...as of September, 2004 Google has seen a substantial drop in SE market share versus last year.
Also picked up a research tip from Karon I hadn't thought about before.
The legal panel was excellent and entertaining. I only wish we were further along with respect to Internet law...until more legal precedence is set, much is still based on speculation.
It was also interesting learning about the 16 types of search engine spam in the SE spam session.
Unfortunately, I missed the presentations part of Jill and Alan's black / white hat SEO panel ... they and Karon were presenting simultaneously.

This time the Did-It frog was my favorite give away. It's hard to beat a stuffed animal that croaks "did-it, did-it" when you squeeze it.

Looks like it to me. Doesn't matter because that won't be spidered.

I really liked the little Brains at The Karcher Groups Booth... they were pretty cool too! I had to take two - due to my lack of them at times. Sorry we did not have the pleasure of meeting. Maybe next time.

I don't think I'm being really naughty. It's not like I'm telling people to click on my signature to find the answers to life, the universe and everything. It's not as if I'm using subliminal click on my signature techniques in a blatant attempt to get more click on my signature traffic.
To get serious about click on my signature for a moment: what makes for an effective click on my signature?

I don't know what you're talking about... I only brought 3 pairs of shoes, a pair of sandals, my big fluffy slippers, 8 shirts, 6 pairs of pants, and a couple sweaters. But a real woman would have brought more than one coat. I'm sure of it.
Next time I'm only bringing 2 of everything and I'll just burn a couple hundred on the hotel laundry & dry cleaning services. That will leave more room for books and equipment, 'cause I have to have my 2-volume 'algorithms' set, PHP book, Nielsen, Krug, Dan Kennedy, Javascript and DHTML references, whatever I'm reading about in artificial intelligence, and at least one work of fiction (Snow Crash... I want to be Uncle Enzo when I grow up).

Search Joe's Weed Street on MSN. It's #1.
Joe's is a BIG bar. There's a band called Hairbanger's Ball tonight. They do an 80's thing, very entertaining. There's a lotta guys and gals at this place, a meet market.
Also right in the immediate vicinty (walking distance), there are several other big bars. If you never been to Weed Street, I suggest you go before leaving town.
Also, check out Division Street. For the more serios party animal, I recommend Weed Street.
