Hi,
Im thinking of adding a blog to my website (not for the sole purpose of rankings although Im sure the content will help my SE positioning).

Couple of questons:

1) Is there one program over another that I should be looking at? (currently Im thinking of Blogger).

2) Would developing links within the blog as well as inbound links help the blog rank better or does it help improve the rankings of my website (or both)?

Any steps I should take in the implementation and maintenance process that would help my rankings (for either the blog or my website) would be greatly appreciated as I am a bit confused with blog/website relationship thinking.gif

Thanks bye1.gif

It really doesn't matter which program you use. The reason blogs do well is because they are kept up to date and therefore get spidered often by the engines. If you have a blog, but don't update it, it won't really be any different than having a site that you don't update.

I wouldn't create a blog as an SEO tool, but because you have a real need for it in your organization.
