Google updates that page in its index as soon as it is crawled.
Only time delay is the time it takes to propagate the changed page to the other Google data centers. Maybe a few days to get to them all.
Natural search results are based on what Google (others SE work the same way) has in its cached version of the page. So, in practical terms, page changes for that is reflected immediately.
Just ensure that when you check your ranking using regular Google search that you use the same data center that has the latest version of your page when doing that organic search; else you may hit one data center that has not been updated yet.

Taphilo, When you talk about Data Centers are you referring to WWW2 & WWW3? Are these data centres back in the loop now? Or are you referring to something else?

Ex: URL for cached page eSeaShop.com
then in browser I put in http://18.104.22.168]and do my search from that Data Center - whichever one that is and not use the DNS name for Google since that randomizes you to whatever Data Center is the least busy.
There is a list at Google Data Center IP Address List

Oh blimey OWG - my Welsh is not that good! But I think I am right in answering the first bit by saying - I've been here and about - just don't get chance to pop in as often as I'd like to!
As for the second bit - I havn't got a bloomin clue!!!!
taphilo - I don't get anything at that link to the Google data centre IP addresses? Any ideas where I can get that list?
What you seem to be saying is: firstly find out which data centre the cached version is on, and then use that data centre's static IP address to access Google and conduct your search so that your results are coming from the same data centre.
Is that right??????

It is probably not so much that your Welsh is that good, rather mine is that bad
chroesawa bacia at 'r hystafell
Nice and simple that one 'welcome back to the forum' I am not good on past tense Welsh, so maybe it is arse backwards.
