I completed a small site for a client 3 months ago (www.vickipowers.com), but her site has not been indexed by Google or most other search engines. A look through her web stats (hosted by a company I am not familiar with) shows a very high occurance of a 302 "Moved Temporarily (redirect)" error. I suspect that this is happening every time someone comes to the site.
I have NO redirects on her site pages. She contacted her host providers and they claim it has nothing to do with them. I'm suspicious.
This was a new site and this is the first/only place its been hosted.
My questions: [1] Is this likely a host/server issue, or is there another explanation? [2] Could this be the reason that search engines are not listing the site?

Welcome t2muser !
Quick answers:
1. Yes it's a Host/Server issue. 301's, 302's, 404's or any other server error header can only be provided by the server configuration. Period, end of discussion.
As an aside to that question, most hosts, even the big ones, have no clue. So don't be too damning of them. They just don't deal with search engines or understand how they work. It can be fixed if the host is willing.
2. Yes, it's possible. A high publicity recent example would be Business.com getting most of their site toasted in Google because of a 302 redirect.
If you want me to take a closer look at the technical issues with the site in question PM the URL address over to me. We'll take a look to see what we can confirm.
